Panaji: A 30-year-old man who was arrested for allegedly raping his 10-year-old daughter, mother-in-law and mentally-challenged sister-in-law over a period of six months was falsely implicated in a rape case over a property dispute, one of the complainants and wife of the accused said in her statement at the women police station on Tuesday.Earlier the wife and mother-in-law of the accused had forced the police to file the first information report against the accused for raping his mother-in-law, sister-in-law and his minor daughter.Police said the minor girl in her statement before the police and court has also said that her father is innocent and he never raped her. Despite the statement of the child, wife and mother-in-law of the accused, the police were forced to register the case.Police said the wife of the accused in her fresh statement stated that the entire episode to implicate her husband in a rape case was planned by her mother as she wanted to sell the bungalow of her sister in connivance with a lawyer and real estate agent.
